SMS & Mobile Messaging
This Acceptable Use Policy governs SMS/text messaging provided by Floors By Design. By receiving or engaging with our Messaging Services, you agree to this Policy.
Consent — We require express consent before sending any SMS. Consent is obtained verbally, in person or over the phone. Customers are told the types of messages, that frequency may vary, that message and data rates may apply, and how to opt out or request help. Consent is documented (date, time, method) before any SMS is sent.
Opt-out — Reply STOP. A confirmation may be sent, then no further SMS unless you re-enroll. You can also email [business email address].
Sender ID — Outbound SMS identifies Floors By Design as the sender, unless it is part of an ongoing customer-initiated conversation.
Permitted content — Transactional/service messages: appointment confirmations and reminders, scheduling updates, technician arrival, billing/payment, post-install follow-ups, and quote follow-ups the customer requested. No unsolicited or spam messages.
Prohibited — Messages without consent; unsolicited, deceptive, or unlawful content; anything that evades opt-out or carrier safeguards.
Privacy — We do not sell, rent, or share mobile numbers for third-party marketing purposes.
